An Initiative to Raise Awareness of People of Determination

UAS is implementing an initiative called "all our children" to raise awareness of the determined ones. For anyone who is not familiar with this term, it means individuals who have special needs. Some families prefer to use the expression "additional needs" and some families use the term "disabled".

​

No matter which terminology is used, the idea behind this initiative is to forge personal connections, in a bid to underline the fact that everyone plays an integral part within our communities.

​

Inclusion is a key notion nowadays and rightly so. 

​

The UAS Government recognises that people of determination should enjoy the same rights as everybody else.

UAS will be hosting and organising various events throughout the year, which will be designed to establish, grow and support connections between members of the UAS community, the extended community and people of determination.

​

UAS will be partnering with the Autism Rocks Support Centre team, the Special Needs Future Development Centre and The Art Therapy Centre in Dubai for example, to reach a wide audience and bring as many people together as possible.
